Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ZAMM application and website ("the Service"), an independent project created and operated by Yuval Karmi.
By accessing or using ZAMM, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Scope and Focus of the Service
- Royal Enfield Motorcycles Only: ZAMM is built out of a personal passion for Royal Enfield motorcycles and is dedicated exclusively to models manufactured by Royal Enfield. The Service is not intended for, nor does it support, other motorcycle makes or brands.
- Independent Project: ZAMM is an independent community tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Royal Enfield (Eicher Motors Limited) or any of its subsidiaries.
2. Beta Status and Service Availability
- Experimental Beta Software: ZAMM is currently in an active Beta testing phase. The Service is provided for experimental and testing purposes.
- Service Instability: The Service may experience unexpected downtime, breaking changes, outages, or sudden interruptions without notice.
- Data Deletion: As part of system updates, migrations, or database maintenance, we reserve the right to modify, reset, or permanently delete any stored data—including user accounts, conversation history, and saved queries—at any time and without prior notice. Do not rely on ZAMM as a permanent archive of your technical questions.
3. Technology, Official Literature Indexing, and AI Notice
- Indexed Factory Documentation: To maximize technical accuracy, ZAMM indexes official manufacturer workshop manuals, parts catalogs, and service literature. Wherever possible, responses provide direct source citations and page references so you can easily review the original manufacturer context.
- AI Processing: Responses are interpreted, synthesized, and generated using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini models). While indexing official literature significantly increases fidelity, AI models can still misinterpret text, hallucinate details, or generate inaccurate conclusions.
- Community Validation: Mechanisms for peer review and community verification are planned for future releases but are not yet fully active.
4. Mechanical and Safety Disclaimer (Assumption of Risk)
CRITICAL NOTICE: Any motorcycle maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical repair, or riding decision you undertake is performed entirely at your own risk.
- Verify Against Original Sources: Because ZAMM provides source references to official literature, you are expected and required to cross-reference all torque specs, electrical wiring, fluid volumes, and safety procedures directly against the official factory manual before performing any physical work.
- Safety & Inherent Risk: Motorcycling and vehicle maintenance involve severe inherent hazards, including the risk of mechanical failure, property damage, personal injury, or death.
- No Professional Advice: ZAMM does not replace certified motorcycle technicians, authorized service centers, or professional mechanical inspections.
- Full Disclaimer of Liability: Yuval Karmi and ZAMM disclaim all legal liability for any damage to property, vehicle malfunction, financial loss, bodily injury, or death resulting directly or indirectly from the use of or reliance on information provided by the Service.
5. Pricing, Capacity Limits, and Fair Use
- Free Service: ZAMM is currently provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions or paid tiers.
- Compute Costs & Rate Limits: Operating custom vector indexing and large language models incurs real computing and infrastructure expenses. To keep the project financially sustainable and protect it from abuse, we strictly enforce rate limits, daily usage quotas, and account registration caps.
- Access Control: User intake and quota allowances are actively managed and adjusted as backend performance and cost optimizations improve. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access for any account attempting to bypass rate limits or overburden system resources.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest data from the Service.
- Attempt to bypass API protections, authentication tokens, or rate limiters.
- Use ZAMM for malicious activities, reverse engineering, or system disruption.
7. "As-Is" Provision
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
8. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be revised periodically. Your continued use of ZAMM after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
